I wanted to celebrate and honor my womanhood and what my body was doing. The female body is so powerful and connected to the divine that even without my conscious mind involved, I was creating the most beautiful thing I could ever imagine- my daughter.
I made Esperanza two special blankets: The Honey Bee Blanket, which felt just right for her enchanted forest nursery, and The Blooming Rose Afghan, which is a new design and a tribute to her middle name, Rose.
I am so thrilled to share a peek inside my Enchanted Forest nursery for our daughter, Esperanza Rose. I wanted her room to feel magical and a little mystical—not your typical baby room.
